Today has been an utterly frustrating day. Brianna has been stuck in Charlotte, North Carolina since this afternoon. Her flight from Lynchburg, Virginia was delayed, which would have resulted in another delayed flight to O’Hare…which, in turn, would have caused her to miss her final flight home to Kansas City. The second flight never made it off the ground, due to poor weather. I suggested that she could try to get to St. Louis, and I could drive out to pick her up. The airlines gave her a flight to D.C.-Dulles, and then to St. Louis…hours later, we found out that all flights out of Charlotte were grounded, and that she would have to spend the night in a hotel. Weather permitting, she’ll be flying to Chicago in the morning, and then on to Kansas City. I really hope it works this time…

It’s so hard to deal with things you have absolutely no control over! Hope things work out soon.
Thanks for the encouragement! Weather is especially daunting for a California boy such as myself. I’ll be much happier once the weather warms up a bit. That being said, I’m a lot happier now, as my love has returned to me…
