Hello Everyone — Although I may appear to be serious much of the time, my immaturity often gets the best of me. Both of those characteristics will be shown in my attempts at blogging. If you are a light-hearted type, please bear with my more serious moments, in favor of the silly ones. If you are looking for a more intellectual read, you might find something of interest in here too. If you’re looking for true wisdom, enlightenment, revelation, or anything of that caliber…shut down your computer and go read the Word. –Gabe
(my first journey in the 3rd person in a long, long time)
Gabriel is a little fish in a big pond. Actually, it’s more like an ocean, and he’s learning to swim against the current.
He is 100% matter and 100% spirit. The matter part doesn’t matter, and the spirit part is really Jesus.
He is a native Californian, originally from various small towns near Santa Barbara, and more recently, from Orange County. He is currently living in Kansas City, Missouri…not to be confused with Kansas City, Kansas…which is on the other side of the street.
He is the direct descendant of a mother and a father and the Father…and an indirect descendant of many mothers and fathers, a step-mother, a step-father, and some other stuff. He has three sisters and a brother in the following sequence…brother, sister, him, sister, sister (from oldest to youngest).
He is in love with a beautiful Southern belle, named Brianna. Actually, he plans to marry her…soon.
He works for the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (IHOP-KC), as their shipping supervisor. That means that he licks a lot of stamps.
He has worn many hats, most of them backwards, sideways, inside-out, or a combination of the three. His favorite ones have always been green.
He sleeps to dream…whenever he actually sleeps.
He enjoys many things, most of which are free…or at least paid for by someone else.
He tires of talking about himself in the third person, or any other point of view…if your curiosity isn’t sated, try Facebook.
